Many times, people in churches, yes even OUR church, have talked about not knowing how to invite people to church.  Well, this FRIDAY, you have a golden opportunity…  StonePoint is presenting Movie in the Park.  It will be held at Newnan Utilities’ Carl Miller Park.  We’ll be showing Horton Hears a Who, and there will be food, face painting, and fun for everyone! So it’s very easy now for YOU to invite your friends to church…

I hear you…”But we aren’t inviting people to church, we’re inviting them to see a movie in the park!”

And to that, I would say….WRONG!  You are inviting people to an event, that is sponsored by StonePoint.  There will be StonePoint signs, StonePoint banners,  and StonePoint people.  We’re going to have StonePoint commercials running before the movie, and we’re going to invite EVERYONE to come to StonePoint on Sunday.  So, by YOU inviting your friends to the Move in the Park, you ARE inviting them to church.

Who knew evangelism could be so easy??

You CAN Be Debt Free!

Pardon me while I rant for a moment …

For some reason, I have been encountering a lot of people lately who simply can not believe that they can become debt free.

They present numerous reasons as to why they can not become debt free - income, uncooperative spouse, children, huge home mortgage, student loans, interest rates on various loans, and the fact that it takes too long.

I agree that all of these reasons can create obstacles to achieving debt freedom, but NONE has the ability to prevent you from becoming debt free.  ALL of them can be addressed.  ALL of them might require tough, hard, and gut-wrenching decisions, but it is worth it to become free from debt!
